Thank you for purchasing the Ubiquiti UniFi Networks
™
AP-PRO or AP-AC.
The UniFi AP-PRO or AP-AC works with the UniFi AP, AP-LR,
AP-Outdoor, and AP-Outdoor 5G. It includes the UniFi
Controller software, which allows you to manage your
wireless network using a web browser.
This User Guide is for use with version 2.4 or above of
the UniFi Controller software and the following UniFi
Enterprise WiFi System Access Point models:

UniFi AP-PRO UAP-PRO 802.11a/b/g/n
UniFi AP-AC UAP-AC 802.11a/b/g/n/ac
Unless otherwise needed to specify differences between
the two models, this User Guide will refer to both as UniFi
AP. Additional information is available on our website at
http://wiki.ubnt.com/UniFi_FAQ
The UniFi AP also includes the necessary hardware for
mounting the unit on a wall or a ceiling.
The UniFi AP-PRO can be powered by any of the following:
• PoE GigE Adapter (included)
• 48V, 802.3af compliant switch
• Ubiquiti Networks TOUGHSwitch PRO, model TS-8-PRO
The UniFi AP-AC can be powered by any of the following:
• PoE GigE Adapter (included)
• PoE+ 802.3at compliant switch
• Ubiquiti Networks TOUGHSwitch PRO, model TS-8-PRO
TERMS OF USE: All Ethernet cabling runs must use CAT5 (or above). It is the customer’s responsibility
to follow local country regulations, including operation within legal frequency channels, output
power, indoor cabling requirements, and Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS) requirements.
